Established in 1996 by our Principal, Ron Frank, Business Brokers Queensland grew to be one of the largest brokerage firms in the country by 2001. Struggling with the weaknesses of the traditional brokerage business model, Ron took on a new partner Shane Dingley in 2005 to reinvent the brokerage process resulting in extraordinary improvements in productivity and results for clients. Shane’s background in consulting and finance proved to be complementary with Ron’s extensive experience. Business Brokers Queensland is now one of the most disciplined and systemised brokerage firms in the country and capable of producing the best results on a consistent basis for business owners.

Ron and Shane are successful business owners who have bought, sold and operated a range of businesses from small home based ventures to large businesses with $10M-$20M revenue. They know what it’s like to create a business, buy an established business, turn around a struggling business, go through partnership breakups and sell a business. It can be important to deal with someone who understands first-hand what you have been through and what you will go through.
Shane loves business. He has accumulated extensive expertise in numbers and finance but also in business strategy, management systems and risk management. Over the last decade since leaving corporate consulting, he has started or actively invested in a portfolio of 9 SME businesses. Shane has a professional approach and is collaborative and analytical.

Ron loves to make a deal and has completed over 1200 business sales in his 27 years as a Business Broker. Ron is a highly respected member of the industry and has presented on many occasions both business broking and business valuation courses along with being the Chairman of the REIQ Business Brokers Chapter for the past 12 years and has been a member of the national committee for the Australian Institute of Business Brokers.
